Inter-Library Loan Services

The Law Library provides Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services to the students, faculty and staff of UDC/DCSL. If you need a book or an article that is not available in our collection, or the University's collection, please send an email to Helen Frazer, Associate Director of Public Services, at hfrazer@udc.edu.

In addition to this service, UDC/DCSL students, faculty and staff can take advantage of Consortium borrowing through the University's membership in the Washington Research Libraries Consortium (WRLC). Those interested in this service must first get a University bar code placed on your Student ID. These bar codes are available at the Circulation Desk at the Learning Resources Division in Building 41.

At that point users can search the WRLC catalogs via Aladin, the consortium’s shared online catalog. Using the barcode, patrons can then place an ILL borrowing request on-line. All books borrowed via Aladin must be picked up and returned to the Learning Resources Division in Building 41.
