Academic Skills Workshop
The Academic Skills Workshops for Fall 2012
Time is tight in law school and you want to use it in the most profitable way. Your Orientation, your friends and your prep books give you many good tools for handling law school but there is a danger of becoming overwhelmed and unclear about which settings call for which skills. The Academic Skills Workshop can keep you in-step and handling your work in a progressive and manageable timeframe to a successful conclusion.
The workshops take place on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:45 pm in Room LL109. There are main presentations (in CAPITAL letters below) about a month apart that focus on the skills and tactics to apply in the beginning, middle and end of your first semester. Between the main presentations are individualized question and answer sessions with mini-presentations that offer more personalized insights and advice.
While the titles of the workshops may seem abstract, the Workshops are not – our approach, while broad, is straightforward and very practical.ACADEMIC SKILLS WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
