WBA Judicial Council presents its 18th Annual Spring Symposium entitled "Judges and Journalists: Keeping America Free!" The event is open to the public at no cost, and will take place at the historic U.S. District Court, 300 Constitution Avenue, NW (entrance on 3rd Street NW).

The program will examine the role that courts and journalists have played in modern history during periods of constitutional crisis, and the lessons to be applied going forward, e.g., the McCarthy Era, Watergate, the Civil Rights Movement, etc. The discussion will be scholastic, rather than partisan, with the goal of strengthening institutions and reaffirming historic fact. The event is open to the public at no cost.
