The George Washington University Law School (GW) and the GW Chapter of Lambda Law are proud to announce the Fourth Annual GLBT and Affiliated Law Student Networking Reception. This event will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the One Washington Circle Hotel located at One Washington Circle, NW, Washington, DC. Like last year, we are extending an invitation to area law schools' GLBT students and affiliates! This raises the bar for the event, making this the premier DC Metro Area GLBT Networking Reception.

This event will help all students refine their networking skills and will encourage 1L and 2L attendees to begin thinking about their participation in their schools' 2010 Fall Recruitment Programs before they become overwhelmed with exam preparation.

Last year, over 80 attorneys representing 35 employers from both the public and private sectors, and more than 100 law students attended the reception. This networking reception event has been profiled in national publications including Diversity & The Bar (MCCA) (http://www.mcca.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.viewpage&pageid=1497).

This year we look forward to working with you to build upon our past success.

From 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., there will be a special reception open only to area GLBT/Lambda students. At 7:30 p.m., we will open the reception other students who pre-registered for this event. Light appetizers and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

If you are interested in participating, RSVP to Kevin Motsinger at kmotsinger@law.gwu.edu by Friday, March 19, 2010. Please put LAMBDA RSVP in your subject line!

Note that space is limited for this important event and that registration will occur on a first-come, first-served basis.
