“Mock Interview” program

for UDC-DCSL Law students

preparing for diversity job fairs

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

at Baker Botts L.L.P.

1299 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W.
Washington, D.C.

(Closest metro stop is Metro Center, take 12th and F St. exit)

Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to polish your presentation and “learn the ropes” to make the most of diversity job fairs such as Mid-Atlantic BLSA, Lavender Law, and others. Our host is Sylvia James Esq, Diversity Counsel at Baker Botts.

The program will begin promptly at 5:00. Students will meet one-on-one with an attorney for a 20 minute “interview,” followed by 10 minutes of personalized feedback. We will reconvene for a general “debriefing,” refreshments and conversation.

All students are welcome to participate; however, we are targeting  students who are attending diversity job fairs this fall.

Students must pre-register (above) to participate, and we have a maximum of 12 spots.

Participating students must wear business dress and bring a polished copy of their resumes with them to the program. It will be a very productive and enjoyable evening!
