Corporations=People? A talk about corporate influence on politics

Speakers will include (subject to change):
  • Jonah Minkoff-Zern of Public Citizen: Democracy is for People Campaign. He will discuss the campaign to reverse the Supreme Court’s Citizens’ United v. F.E.C. ruling through a constitutional amendment.
  • Mike Wilson of D.C. Jobs with Justice: Respect DC Campaign. He will discuss the proposed D.C. ballot initiative that will restrict corporate contributions to political campaigns and limit the influence of Wal-Mart on D.C.
