Attorneys can work in Family Court with guardian-ad-litem appointments, as Counsel for Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN), and on other panels including Special Education. Attorneys can also represent indigent criminal defendants under provision of the DC Criminal Justice Act, which is OPEN for applications.
