Audience

• Experienced clinicians interested in conducting empirical research on access-to-justice projects

• New clinicians (particularly clinical fellows and LL.M. candidates) interested in making empirical research part of their research and scholarly agendas

• Clinicians of any experience level who are interested in applying to be designated as Bellow Scholars

 Participation

In advance of the workshop, each participant must submit a two-paragraph Problem and Project Statement ("P&P”) — a description of a social justice/ lawyering problem and a proposed research project related to the problem. A compilation of the P&Ps will be distributed at registration and each participant’s P&P will be discussed in one of the small group meetings. The P&P can be in fledgling form, but is a requirement to attend the workshop. Please submit your P&P in a Word document to ccooper@udc.edu by Monday, November 1.
