Hi Joe,

I received your call for housing opportunities through a family friend and thought I would send you the information on an opening I'll have in my house. Below is the blurb I wrote up, let me know if you need anything else on my end!

Thanks,

Malcolm Scott

I have a room available in a 2br 1.5 bath house in the Riggs Park area of Washington D.C. The house has 3 stories as well as a small backyard and front porch. There is also a small room that could be converted to a den/workroom. It is roughly a 12 minute walk to the Fort Totten Metro and a 10 minute walk to the new Wal-Mart on Riggs rd. The E4 bus to Riggs Park stops a half block from the house. I own a cat named Tyrion who is very loving and friendly, I’ve raised him since he was a kitten to be social so he’s very dog-like. Another cat would be acceptable but unfortunately no dogs. Smokers are preferred, but not required.

A little about myself- I’m a 27 y/o DMV native who teaches and coaches sports for a living. I enjoy watching movies, playing board games (settlers of catan!), watching and playing sports, and playing video games.

Monthly rent is $950 + utilities (electricity,gas/water, & cable/internet usually total about $100/person/month) and the security deposit is $900. There is a washer/dryer in the basement and plenty of street parking in front of the house. The room is available starting August 1st. A 6 month or full year lease are the available options.
