On Saturday, October 4, 2003, over 100 alumni - almost evenly divided between Antioch and D.C. Schools of Law - gathered to enjoy a fine reunion party at UDC's Firebird Inn. From the laughter, whoops of recognition, and general merriment, it appeared to the casual observer that the Classes of 1978 and 1983, 93 and 98, celebrating 25th, 20th, 10th and 5th years since graduation, succeeded in reaching the necessary quorum. Each class had more than a dozen members present - plus family and friends from other classes. Those classmates not in attendance were alternately remembered fondly and, on occasion, excoriated en absentia.

The night before, Michael Maggio, '78, hosted a pre-reunion Friday evening gathering at his fabulous Dupont Circle office. The morning after (don't ask me how they did it!) Ro Lesiw, '83 (and wife Susan Dorn, '85) hosted a Sunday morning brunch for Ro's classmates at their home.

The event generated $4,000 in contributions to our annual Summer Public Interest Fellowships for 1Ls - with more checks still coming in.
