School of Law Hosts "Understanding Lawyers’ Ethics: Zealous Advocacy in a Time of Uncertainty" Symposium

The symposium featured nationally known legal ethicist Monroe Freedman and Georgetown Law Prof. Abbe Smith, co-authors of the newly released Understanding Lawyers’ Ethics. They were joined in a panel discussion by former Watergate prosecutor Sam Dash, GWU Law Professor Paul Butler, and UDC-DCSL’s own Prof. Laurie Morin. Moderator Wade Henderson provided several ethical hypothetical situations for the panelists to comment upon. Afterward, the panelists answered questions from the audience.
