Women's Law Society

The Women’s Law Society (WLS) serves as a forum in which individuals can come together and discuss the role gender plays within the law and society. WLS strives to increase awareness in the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law community of the challenges and issues related to gender which still exist within the legal profession, and also to facilitate dialogue regarding appropriate approaches to such issues. Finally, the WLS provides a support system through which its members can continue to develop personally, professionally, and academically.
