The mission of the Environmental Law Society (ELS) of the David Clarke School of Law School is to provide an outlet to enhance the academic experience through programs designed to give law students exposure to legal skills and local professionals on environmental law related issues. The objectives of the ELS may be achieved through:

  1. Guest speakers, such as interested faculty members, local authorities on environmental issues, and practicing attorneys in the field of environmental law;
  2. Working with local organizations to improve the environmental quality of the community;
  3. Providing priority access to resource materials, internship availability, and networking opportunities;
  4. Encouragement of open discussions of current environmental issues through speakers and debates.
