Professor Vicenç Feliú
Vicenç Feliú
Director, Law Library
Assistant Professor of Law

Vicenç Feliú is the Director of the Charles N. and Hilda H. M. Mason Law Library and an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. He received his B.A. in Linguistics from California State University, Fullerton, Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center, New Hampshire, Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington, and the Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center, New Hampshire. Before coming to UDC, he was the Assistant Director for Public Services and Associate Librarian for Foreign, Comparative, and International Law at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University. Professor Feliú is responsible for all administrative aspects of the Law Library, including technology. He is an active participant in law library professional organizations.

Professor Feliú’s primary scholarly interest is in the field of copyright law. He has also concentrated his scholarship on the areas of legal research, civil law, international law, and reference services. Claitor’s Law Books (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) recently published his book, Moreau Lislet: The Man Behind the Digest of 1808, which he co-authored with Professor Alain Levasseur, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. Professor Feliú is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the District of Columbia bar. Before becoming a law librarian, Professor Feliú served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
