Professor Mercer is Chief Attorney of the Forensics Division in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender (MOPD). Prior to joining MOPD, he spent 15 years in private practice with a focus on criminal trial and appellate work, and commercial transactional and litigation law.  

 

Professor Mercer teaches the courses Forensic Scientific Evidence and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC I).
