Nicole C. Dillard, Managing Partner of Oden & Dillard, PLLC, focuses primarily on business immigration as well as corporate visa matters related to businesses seeking to employ both skilled and unskilled workers who are either in the United States or are currently abroad. Specifically, Professor Dillard assists businesses and organizations seeking to sponsor employees for both non-immigrant and immigrant visa status, and advises them of their responsibilities in the immigration process. She also regularly advises human resources professionals in industries such as public, private and charter school systems; universities; the hospitality industry; and the high-tech research arena through various stages of international recruitment while they navigate the immigration process. In addition to practicing law, Professor Dillard also handles civil cases (contract disputes and divorces) before the courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Since graduating from law school, Professor Dillard has worked for an immigration law firm in Rockville, MD and a boutique labor, employment and immigration firm in Washington, D.C. before starting her own law practice in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending law school, Professor Dillard was an English as a Second Language teacher with the Fairfax County Public Schools.
Professor Dillard teaches Moot Court in the Legal Writing Program.
