Dean Ross, a native Washingtonian, most recently served as an executive manager within the Office of Unified Communications (OUC). There, he was instrumental in the merger of emergency and non-emergency communications within the District and recruiting bi-lingual 911 call-takers to the agency.

Prior to joining the OUC, Dean Ross worked for the District's Office of the Chief Financial Officer as a Financial Manager for a number of agencies across the Government, including the Executive Office of the Mayor, the Office of the City Administrator, the Office of Latino Affairs and the Office of Property Management. He was awarded the Chief Financial Officer's Mark of Excellence Award by current District CFO, Natwar Ghandi, for establishing an efficient payment process for the D.C. Tuition Assistance Grant Program.

Dean Ross is currently a Certified Public Manager and Six Sigma Green Belt candidate at the George Washington University's Center for Public Excellence.
