
Jarred Reiling

B.A., cum laude, Florida Atlantic University; J.D., summa cum laude, Florida International University College of Law
Professor Reiling graduated summa cum laude from
the Florida International University College of Law, where he was
valedictorian of his class. While in law school, Professor Reiling
worked as an Executive Editor
on FIU Law Review; represented students with
disabilities obtain appropriate educational amenities; worked as a
Florida Bar Foundation Fellow to aid victims of violence obtain legal
protection; served as President of the Board of Advocates;
competed in moot court and trial team; was honored as the graduate with
the highest demonstrated commitment to public interest law; won several
awards for oral advocacy; and worked in the Rosemary Barkett Appellate
Inns of Court.
Professor Reiling is a Presidential
Management Fellow; the Fellowship is a flagship leadership program
designed to develop leaders in executive management. He currently is
working on rotation in the Office of the Assistant
Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice in a center organized
under the White House Office for Faith-based and Neighborhood
Partnerships. His home agency under the PMF program is in the Office of
Policy at the Center for Tobacco Products housed in
the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
At the conclusion of his
fellowship, Professor Reiling will serve as a law clerk to the Honorable
Adalberto Jordan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh
Circuit.
