Guide: Forms of Address in Law
Forms of address are used in writing application letters for clerkships, internships, employment in law firms, legislatures, public interest firms, et alia. Forms of address are also used to address employers in some settings. Judicial law clerks, for example, often address their employers as "Judge.”

The websites listed below provide forms of address and examples of salutations to use in writing cover letters for applications for internships and employment. Many dictionaries also have a style section in the back which includes forms of address.
