Career and Professional Development
- Welcome from the Office of Career and Professional Development
- ABA Employment Summary Reports
- UDC Law CareerNet (Symplicity)
CareerNet is the primary resource for law students and alumni to find out about new job and internship postings, and it is continuously updated. Students and alumni may access various job databases to which OCPD subscribes, post their resume and cover letters for review, and find announcements about programs and relevant off-campus events, such as job fairs. Employers can post and edit their positions, and search for resumes. Registration is required.
- OCPD Events Calendar
OCPD arranges various on-campus career events during the school year and also highlights off-campus career events that may be of particular interest to UDC-DCSL students and recent graduates.
- OCPD Handbook
The Handbook provides information about School of Law programs and resources, and provides some essential tools to guide you in improving networking and interviewing skills, and preparing written materials. Students and alumni must be signed into this website in order to read or download the Handbook.
- Career and Professional Development Reciprocity Policy
Law students at other schools who wish to access UDC-DCSL resources should read the reciprocity policy. NOTE for UDC-DCSL students and graduates: Reciprocity is not permitted with other D.C. area law schools, including American, Catholic, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown, and Howard.
